Terms & Conditions

Design and Layout of Printing. We use our judgement as to the most effective and elegant visual layout. However, we are always pleased to set the typography and illustrations precisely how you wish. Simply let us have your instructions and we will carry them out

Payment for your order. We accept payment by Mastercard – Visa – Maestro – Switch – Solo – Visa Electron, JCB and American Express. All our prices are quoted in £ sterling. Payment by credit card through World Pay ensures a fair and reasonable conversion from overseas currencies. You may send your credit card information via phone, post or over the Internet. If you prefer, you may order on line and send us a cheque by post. If you would prefer to place your order via post, then we will happily send you a leaflet and order form.

Shipping and Handling. Lightweight orders are sent by first class post in the U.K. Heavier items are despatched by a 48 hour carrier. All overseas orders go via Royal Mail Air letter or Air parcel post. There is a standard charge for post and packing of: £2.95 (UK), £4.95 (Europe) and £5.95 (Rest of the world). Sometimes these charges seem a little harsh, for a few labels say, but for the average order, the postage alone is much greater than we charge. For simplicity, we hope you will agree with our, “swings and roundabouts” principle.

Delivery Times. We normally turn orders around in less than 4-5 days. If you have an urgent requirement, please ask us specifically, and we will, whenever possible, print and despatch within two to three days. On the other hand, being a small business, sometimes means, e.g. holidays and during very busy periods, delivery times can come under pressure, we hope that you will forgive us should you encounter such a period.

Credit Card Security. Our shopping cart uses industry standard security. Your card details are never accessed by Countryside Direct – the payments are processed directly by World Pay.

Printing Mistakes. If there is a mistake in the printing of your order which is our fault, then we will reprint at no cost to you, as fast as we possibly can. If there is a mistake due to our receiving incorrect information, then we will normally reprint your order at half-price.

Data Protection. We only use your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Two or three times a year, we do like to send you details of new ideas and special offers through post or E-mail. Please would you be kind enough to let us know if this is a nuisance and we will be happy to remove your details from our database.
